Through All Around the World Cultural Arts & Crafts with Ms. Jessica, children will be able to make connections from their own lives to the lives of people around the world - increasing their cultural competence and teaching them to be empathetic to the experiences of others.

All Around the World Cultural Arts & Crafts with Ms. Jessica will rarely, if ever, repeat a craft and each lesson is throughly crafted to provide children with a fun, engaging, and hands on experience.

Awesome class, it was very informative but easily digestible, my son enjoyed it. I even learned some new things about a culture that I wouldn't have known where to begin to gain that knowledge. Thanks Miss Jessica!

This class was immensely informative and our family thoroughly enjoyed the presentation! "Flying" to Nepal on the globe was amazing and Emory was very excited to be able to see the 3D models of Mount Everest and the landscape of Nepal.

CURRENT CLASSES

A Whole Book Approach Story Time creates thought-provoking reading experiences by encouraging children to talk about often overlooked aspects of art in picture books - such as visual typography, front matter artwork, and end paper design.

This critical engagement with picture books establishes interactive story times that emerge as facilitated discussions that empower children to actively participate in their learning instead of quietly listening through typical read-aloud times.
