Genesis Tree of Life Yoga

Under the auspices of our spiritual leader, Yogi René, a direct disciple of Swami Rama, GTOL has steadily grown over the years to include services and modalities that help people around the world reclaim their health and well being. It has become an affiliation of instructors and holistic practitioners offering complementary and alternative wellness services in the form of classes, teacher training, workshops, retreats and one-on-one holistic therapies.

GTOL is part of Genesis Society, a 501 C3 not-for-profit organization founded by René David Alkalay in 1996 with the mission of developing a platform for interfaith dialogue, education, and cooperation. Once the organization expanded into areas of health, environment and the principle of ahimsa (non-violence) it was a natural progression to develop the Tree of Life Yoga Program, dedicated to the promulgation of knowledge of classical Indian yoga in the Himalayan Tradition.
