About Russian School of Mathematics - UWS (Online)
RSM is an after school education program for children in grades K-12 that offers top-quality instruction in mathematics.
RSM program is based on Russian teaching methodology; it includes and exceeds all the requirements of the U.S. public and private schools and SATI-SATII tests.
RSM is one of the few after-school programs with a complete, continuous K-12 curriculum designed to ensure thorough math education in a logical, sequential and age-appropriate way.
RSM’s special focus on problem solving and critical thinking is one of the main features of our program. Unlike many tutoring services, RSM takes a long-term fundamental approach to teaching math. Students learn to think mathematically and logically, as opposed to merely memorize and follow routines. This is the only way to help a child build a strong foundation for future math and science courses.
One more feature that makes RSM truly unique is the early introduction of Algebra.
