SPARK is an art, yoga and meditation business based on the Upper West Side offering private and group classes for children—and now, they offer online classes, too! SPARK provides smaller, intimate lessons with greater opportunity for individualized attention in a teaching artist's studio and gallery. Using different mediums, they aim to foster and cultivate each child's creative "spark" while teaching collaboration, confidence and community.

Art is crucial to child development. SPARK believes it is vital to foster and cultivate creativity in children through art; in our increasingly digital world, skills that allow for individual expression are more important than ever. Artistic activities serve as an integral building block for children.

Spark is also certified to bring yoga and meditation to kids. These practices can have dramatic effects on kids, creating a sense of mindfulness and focus within children who are rarely given the opportunity to sit still.
