Kara Doyle, the heart and soul behind Positively Reading, has been working with students as a teacher since 2005. She received her B.A. in Communications from Montclair State University and her M.A. in Special Education from New Jersey City University and holds certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, High School Communications, and the Orton Gillingham approach through Fairleigh Dickinson University.
After working in the public school sector for 17 years, Kara decided to dedicate her passion for literacy and helping others to create her own independent business, Positively Reading—and now spends her days helping students develop confidence in reading in classes that are deeply rooted in fun! Through fun activities like book clubs that teach important life lessons, Kara will make your child feel positive about reading.
