Laura Baran is a New York City based artist with a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her work has won numerous awards, including Excellence in Painting from the New York City Society of Illustrators and the ranking of #1 Movie Poster of 2014 by TimeOut New York. She is the co-founder of Arts & Dreams, an organization providing empowering art workshops serving NYC since 2009. She is the mother to a one year old son and lives with her son and husband in Hell's Kitchen.
