Pins & Needles, a sewing studio, fabric store and modern crafts boutique dedicated to inspiring and supporting sewers and DIYers of all ages and skill levels. Located in New York City, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, we specialize in sewing and craft classes, camps, lessons and birthday parties for kids ages 7 and older, all with an emphasis on stitching and creative expression.

P&N’s airy, light-filled, second floor store is a space that invites creativity and learning: our style is colorful, bright and fresh with generous doses of whimsy. The boutique offers an edited collection of unique, modern and quality fabrics for garment sewing, home decor, fabric crafts and more. Sewing notions, patterns, embroidery supplies, stitching kits, books, ribbon and trim and other creative materials.

Since opening in 2011, Pins & Needles has become a home for those who love sewing, crafting and using their imaginations, including hundreds of kids who return for classes again and again. Students learn the basics of design and fashion, how to use a sewing machine and work with patterns all while having fun selecting their own fabrics for projects in our boutique.
