Sword Class NYC

At Sword Class NYC in East Harlem, it’s not just about the sword. Sword Class NYC is the only school in the United States that offers both eastern and western sword styles side-by-side, encouraging exploration and discourse between the divergent forms. It’s a class about strength and discipline, grace, respect, physical determination and spiritual balance. Not to mention, kids will love learning how to properly and safely handle a sword! Kids ages five to 11 will love the Light Saber Fitness class that'll teach them a combination of techniques (that they've definitely seen in Star Wars!) using light sabers. In the more traditional Youth Kendo Class, kids ages six to 12 will learn kendo techniques complete with foam, wood and bamboo swords (all supervised by an experienced instructor). Sword Class NYC also offers more advanced classes for teens and adults!
