Karen fell in love with photography when she received a camera for her 13th birthday and hasn’t stopped taking photos since. In addition to her highly acclaimed portrait work, Karen has traveled with world with a camera in hand.
About Karen Haberberg Photography
Karen Haberberg is an award winning portrait and lifestyle photographer specializing in capturing natural moments. Her photographs have been exhibited in various New York City galleries & published in the New York Family Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, among others. NY1 News, ABC News and various other media outlets have featured her images as well.
Karen Haberberg has also curated numerous exhibitions and worked with well known photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Elliot Erwitt, Joyce Tenneson, Gillian Laub.
This past year, Karen Haberberg published a photography book titled, An Ordinary Day - Kids with Rare Genetic Conditions, highlighting 27 different families coping with rare genetic conditions. Karen currently photography at the 92Y and the JCC in Manhattan and has a MA in Photography from NYU and ICP.
