The Playroom NYC

Learning from their kids, Liat and Tali have incorporated many different features into the play space, from a wall of light switches, to a padded area for toddlers learning to walk, to a room devoted entirely to dress up and imaginative play. The registration and membership options are flexible, allowing parents and caregivers with busy schedules the freedom to come as often and regularly as they would like. Weekly classes and a party room is also available, making The Playroom NYC an essential facility for the children of the Upper East Side.

My 3 year old first went here for a bday party and had a blast. Finally got a chance today and he had as much fun as he did the first time. Will be going back again for sure. Clean, safe, and the staff was awesome!

The Playroom is well thought out and spotlessly clean. However, I would not recommend it for non-walking or just walking children. While The Playroom has a dedicated babies room, it is not respected by some caregivers who let their toddlers run amok. It's a shame because most of the parents and nannies are wonderful - but each time we visited there was one caregiver who was unconcerned about their child's behavior or other children's safety. There are many playrooms on the UES, probably better to take smaller children elsewhere.

Nice place to play on a rainy day. It is usually pretty clean and I think my son enjoys going from area to area and playing.
