Register your child in a class at ABADÁ Capoeira in Midtown West, a studio that teaches traditional Brazilian martial arts to visitors of all ages and abilities. The classes for kiddos ages four and up are an excellent activity for kiddos to develop a wide variety of skills ranging from flexibility and balance to focus and coordination. Each 45-minute class incorporates capoeira movements and traditional Portuguese music into interactive (and fun!) games and group activities. You can register your child in a 12-week session, or a drop-in class session. (Siblings get a 10% off discount!) ABADÁ Capoeira also offers private classes, adult sessions, and open-level programs for kids ages 10 and older that combine martial art fitness with dance, rhythm and a whole lot of fun.
