Choreography by Rae, held in the Ripley Grier studios in the Upper West Side of Manhattan offers affordable and fun dance classes for kids and teens in New York City. Rae's unique dance classes for kids 2.5 and up combine dance technique, imagination, and creative development. At Choreography by Rae, dancers don't just learn the rules of dance, they learn how to use those rules to create their dance experiences and improve their self-discipline and critical thinking. The littlest of dancers focus on locomotor and non-locomotor movements, while kids as young as three can start learning the principles of hip hop, ballet, jazz and dance studio etiquette. Choreography by Rae offers weekend classes in Hip Hop Dance, Creative Movement, and Jazz Dance—no dance experience required!
