Body Systems with Barb (Online)

Teacher Barb is excited to have the opportunity to teach your child. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Individual and Family Development. She is a registered nurse and a nurse educator. Earning a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2006. This teacher has been teaching and learning ever since. Teacher Barb's passions her family, son, Philip, and pets. She has house-full with 2 dogs and a grumpy cat. She cannot wait to show you a picture of her animals and hopes you'll show yours as well. She is a very energetic teacher and is known to tell jokes and will jump up and dance. Teacher Barb has developed many classes about the human body. Bringing her knowledge of nursing and love of teaching children together! In Teacher Barb's class when learning about the muscles students will be instructed to stand up flex the muscles just learned about. Students can learn about the heart, it's size, location, and how it works. Have you ever seen paper lungs or a model of the heart? Come to class and this teacher will show you how to make them too.
