About All Sports for All People of Camp Olympia (at John Jay High School)
This Brooklyn-based program, designed for kids aged 6 months and older, is committed to fostering the development of pool skills in a secure, enjoyable, and engaging athletic setting. Conveniently located at John Jay High School in Park Slope, this program offers classes for kids every Saturday and Sunday.
At ASAP of Camp Olympia, ascending through the skill levels is an enjoyable and straightforward process, with skill and age groups creatively themed around fish! Youngsters aged 6-19 months are affectionately referred to as "Water Angels," those between 20 and 36 months old become "Water Tots," and children aged 3-5 are designated as "Angelfish." As children surpass the age of 6, classes are further divided based on skill levels. For instance, accomplished swimmers in the "Blue Marlins" category can confidently swim a half-length independently.
Moreover, the program extends a warm invitation to all, whether enrolled in classes or not, to participate in Family Swim. This inclusive opportunity allows families to enjoy the pool environment together, creating a sense of community beyond the structured classes. Join us at ASAP of Camp Olympia, where the journey to improved pool skills is both enjoyable and rewarding.
