Black Belt Kids is an age-specific skills-based children's martial arts program in Fullerton, California designed exclusively for kids ages 3-14. Black Belt Kids know that children at different ages have different needs. Kids in the martial arts program for 3-4 year olds, for example, have a hard time with the structure in the group environment commonly found in most Martial Arts training—so they provide training in a manner that keeps them entertained while also building skills that set them up for the next age group. Kids ages 5-6, meanwhile, love creativity and problem-solving—so Black Belt Kids provides them their own martial arts training, one that adapts to their social and intellectual curiosity while at the same time building skills that set them up for success. Kids ages 7-9 are in what most people consider "the golden age." They are proficient in vocabulary and problem-solving skills, yet they do not yet want complete independence from adults—so, for them, the teacher-student relationship stronger and more important. Lastly, ten to fourteen-year olds are the smartest students in the school. Yes, they can be as smart as most adults! They are physically competent and capable of excelling in most physical tasks presented to them. Whatever your child's age, we have a program tailored for them.
