About Anahid Syourapian Piano School - Teacher Domantas
Teacher Domantas is a pianist and piano teacher with a Bachelor of Music Degree from Bard College Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Most importantly, he can't wait to teach your child!
Born in Lithuania, Domantas started his music studies at the age of 4 at the Kaunas Music School. In 2008, he enrolled at the M.K. Ciurlionis National School for the Arts in Vilnius to study piano with Gabriele Kondrataite and Aidas Puodziukas. After a year of study at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, he transferred to Bard College Conservatory, (Annandale-on-Hudson, NY) where he was awarded Toni and Martin Sosnoff Scholarship at the Bard College Conservatory of Music to study piano with Peter Serkin. In May 2018, Domantas graduated from Bard College with Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Visual Culture. In May 2020, he completed his Master of Music degree in Piano Performance with Olga Kern and Andre-Michel Schub at Manhattan School of Music.

A little more about Anahid Syourapian Piano School: located in West Manhattan, the school offers private and virtual piano lessons for all ages offered by a small team of teachers—and their students have performed in Carnegie Hall, passed challenging piano and theory exams, and won many international piano competitions.
In all classes with an Anahid Syourapian Piano School teacher, little ones can try their hand at learning the piano through a variety of activities and exercises for all levels and abilities. Teacher Anahid and her fellow teachers customize lessons based on each individual students' needs and goals, so even newbies can give it a go. Kids will learn jazz, pop and other styles in music, but the main concentration will be in classical music.
