About Williamsburg Mixed Martial Arts (WMMA)
Owner, Roger Mamedov, opened Williamsburg Mixed Martial Arts Academy in April 2009. Since then he has worked with aspiring amateur and professional MMA fighters as well as boxers. He has also coached and cornered UFC fighters such as Akira Corassani among others within our camp. His main focus however is to not create a fight gym.

The goal is to create an academy where students from all walks of life, who have different goals and various reasons as to why they chose martial arts, feel welcomed. For them to have the guidance and space to achieve their short and long term goals and to have a sense of belonging within the WMMA community.
