My name is Dina Baker and I am an enthusiastic and passionate educator. I teach the subjects of nature, art and Spanish language. I enjoy crossing over in subject matter when appropriate and utilizing innovative teaching strategies. I am always coming up with new and exciting ways to engage students in hands-on activities.

I love creating lessons that cater to individual students and their interests. When possible, I try to integrate the specific interests of each student into activities and lessons. I believe that student-directed learning is so valuable to engagement and content retention. I readily show my excitement for subject matter which also gets my students excited to learn as well. The most rewarding part of my role as an educator is seeing the lightbulbs go off as each student arrives at their discoveries from exploring and observing. I’ve been so pleased to find these lightbulbs going off during online programs as well!
