About Teacher Germaine Buchanan (Online)
Germaine has taught for Baltimore City Public Schools and for the New York City Department of Education. She has educated students in grades K-3 across all subjects and grades 6-7 in English Language Arts. She has worn many hats in education throughout her career – Teacher, Academic Intervention Services Coordinator, Literacy Instructional Specialist, and Assistant Principal.
She has a love for reading and hopes to impart that to her students. She believes reading is a critical life skill and wants to open the doors for all children to be successful readers.
