Clap con Carmen (Online)

Hola. I'm Carmen, founder of Clap con Carmen. I am a busy mom of a very active toddler and she was and has been the biggest inspiration behind this program.

I began my journey as a teacher at Outside the Box (OTB), an educational and brain development program for infants and toddlers. I was a regular mom, just like the rest of the moms sitting on the floor around the room. I was blown away when I experienced the amazing program that it was. I learned so much about my child because of it and it became such a joy to see how much moms and kids alike loved the quality of time that was being spent with one-another. So, one day OTB sent out their newsletter where I learned that the center was offering training for those interested in becoming teachers. A few months later; I took the training and became a teacher.

A year later, due to the pandemic, OTB was forced to close its doors, and sadly I lost my job-- like many others. Then, something magical happened; moms who took my classes reached out. They wanted me to continue teaching even if it was online. Because of legal and ethical reasons, I couldn't teach the program I taught at OTB, then a friend suggested that I should put my Spanish and teaching skills into a program. After some brain-storming and lots of music Clap con Carmen was born. My clients love it and their kids too and I am beyond grateful and thankful that you are allowing me into your home even if it's virtually so that I can bring this program where I am truly putting my heart into. It is my pleasure that you are trusting me to teach your child something.
