This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community showcases many the incredible classes instructors on KidPass.

Ready for a creative, fun, nurturing music class from NYC?

Hug Melody® is Hug Music's signature music group class for babies toddlers. Hug Melody® is designed led by two NYC-based professional musicians Mr. Sasha Ms. Kana who are also board music therapists (MT-BC) music educators.

High-quality live music is played throughout the class with various acoustic instruments with an emphasis on the importance giving children access to live acoustic music experiences.

The class uses exclusively original compositions that are carefully designed to evoke children’s positive responses. The songs used in the class celebrate diversity by featuring various genres, feels, moods, harmonies rhythms from all over the world.

Using approaches from Music Therapy, the class supports young children improve musical skills healthy development. Your child will enjoy, learn, improve pre-academic skills while having fun. The class has been rated as "Top Notch Mommy & Me class in NYC" by Red Tricycle.

Mr. Sasha & Ms. Kana are the owners Hug Music located in NYC, have worked with over 1000 children taught 20,000+ classes since 2014. Ms. Kana is a board-certified music therapist who works with children with special needs. They perform together as active musicians nationally internationally as well.

Ms. Kana and Mr. Sasha are wonderful musicians and early childhood teachers! My daughter, who's only 5 months old, enjoys the music and animated gestures/movements that accompany the songs. Their style interested her so much that she gets excited and surprisingly goes through the whole case engaged without flipping out! Thank you, Hug Melody! :)

Hug Music is the unique music school located in Forest Hills, Queens which provides creative, flexible, and nurturing music lessons for individuals of any age and ability, including individuals with special needs. Our mission is to spread and nurture a love for music by targeting each student’s growth both as a musician and person. Hug Music uses a unique approach to teaching music. With great care, we learn about each student and tailor the contents of the lessons to meet the student’s interests, strengths, progress, and needs.

We offer private instruction on piano, guitar, violin and song-writing, as well as group programs for babies and toddlers. Our Music Therapy programs for children with special needs include Musicreative , Hug for Music Soul, and adaptive piano lessons.

Hug Music’s primary focus is to nurture the love for music in each student. Teachers at Hug Music respect each student’s uniqueness and work hard to bring the best out of their students. We appreciate and enjoy the differences of the students and are trained to modify and tailor instruction based on strengths, preferences, needs, and progress.
