This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community showcases many the incredible classes instructors on KidPass.
Hug Melody® is a fun nurturing music class for babies toddlers ages from 6 months to 4 years old. Two music specialists, Kana & Sasha, owners Hug Music, co-lead this interactive music class, providing children opportunities to sing along, move to the music, play instruments as well as learn concepts animals, numbers, letters colors through fun music activities! Kana Sasha are professional musicians as well as a board certified music therapist music educator, created Hug Melody that aims to promote healthy development young children while exposing young ears to quality live music.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Hug Music is the unique music school located in Forest Hills, Queens which provides creative, flexible, and nurturing music lessons for individuals of any age and ability, including individuals with special needs. Our mission is to spread and nurture a love for music by targeting each student’s growth both as a musician and person. Hug Music uses a unique approach to teaching music. With great care, we learn about each student and tailor the contents of the lessons to meet the student’s interests, strengths, progress, and needs.
We offer private instruction on piano, guitar, violin and song-writing, as well as group programs for babies and toddlers. Our Music Therapy programs for children with special needs include Musicreative , Hug for Music Soul, and adaptive piano lessons.
Hug Music’s primary focus is to nurture the love for music in each student. Teachers at Hug Music respect each student’s uniqueness and work hard to bring the best out of their students. We appreciate and enjoy the differences of the students and are trained to modify and tailor instruction based on strengths, preferences, needs, and progress.

A pianist as well as a board-certified music therapist born in Kobe, Japan, Ms. Kana Kamitsubo, MT-BC, has received a strong and unique music education both in Japan and the U.S., with concentrations in classical, jazz, and music therapy.
