About
If you’re looking for regularly scheduled activities for your kids this fall but aren’t sure where to start, we’re here to help with our Online Fall Semester Open House from September 8-11. Our semester programs are live, interactive and take place in small groups (also known as “pods”). Programs can meet daily, once a week or twice a week and are the perfect way to give your kids the routine and peer-to-peer relationships they need. The Fall Semester Open House lets you try free demo classes from the programs you’re considering to help you find your perfect fit for fall!
On September 9, join Clinton Hill Music School for a sample their Music Club Learning Pod class!
Learn how to love music! In Music Club we explore a variety global, historical, and cultural topics through guided listening and music-based discussion. From Mozart to Flamenco, our playlists follow fun topics for kids as we travel the world through musical eras and styles. Topics include Musical Machines, Mountain Ranges the World, Piano Through History, and more. We work on our listening skills by identifying musical instruments, tempos, and learning how to describe the music we hear.
Professional trombonist Ric Becker started Music Club by getting together online to discuss music with his nieces, nephews, and little cousins, and it became such a wonderful experience that he decided to share it with the public. This is a relaxed, informal class that requires only an interest in music. Participation is in the form of guided discussion and responding to prompts. Parents are welcome to join, too!
