Learn how to love music! In Music Club we explore a variety of global, historical, and cultural topics through guided listening and music-based discussion. From Mozart to Flamenco, our playlists follow fun topics for kids as we travel the world through musical eras and styles. Topics include Musical Machines, Mountain Ranges of the World, Piano Through History, and more. We work on our listening skills by identifying musical instruments, tempos, and learning how to describe the music we hear.
Professional trombonist Ric Becker started Music Club by getting together online to discuss music with his nieces, nephews, and little cousins, and it became such a wonderful experience that he decided to share it with the public. This is a relaxed, informal class that requires only an interest in music. Participation is in the form of guided discussion and responding to prompts. Parents are welcome to join, too!

Because this is a group class we can't make up individuals who aren't able to make it to scheduled class time.
