About
This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (http://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.

5yr to 10 yr creative cooking class. We will learn prep, cooking and plating each class in an interactive lesson. Fun and fantastic when kids learn to be Master Chefs in Kidpass Kids Can Cook!

What will kids need to bring for this class?

Dress up like a Lumberjack and get your cast iron pans ready to cook! It is Lumberjack day! You will need some boneless chicken meat, 1 egg, salt and pepper, a little cinnamon, buttermilk, an egg, your favorite flour and some oil. Bring a bowl for the dry ingredients and a bowl for the wet ingredients. You’ll need some tongs or a cooking fork too.

Next bring your favorite apple, cinnamon and water with a pot, cutting board and child-safe knife and we will make homemade applesauce to go with our Lumberjack fried chicken!! If you have a blender, puree appliance or apple sauce cone, get it out for the best homemade applesauce of the century!!

Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. If you enjoy the class, please visit the instructor's KidPass page where you can find other class offerings and formats including small-group, interactive classes. We were a little late because I thought the class started an hour later than it really did, but this was such a great class!
I signed my 5 year old up for the chicken nuggets and apple sauce and wasn't really sure how it would go. She followed along so well and did everything herself except using the stove! I highly recommend these cooking classes and we will be back for more!

Great, easy recipe to do. We just watched since we didn't have all the ingredients but it is easy enough to remember so we can do it ourselves when we get all the ingredients. Marilyn made an effort to be engaging even though it was a free class so lots of students. I wish we could tip after the class, but kidpass only gives the option when you sign up and you have no idea how it will go.
