This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (http://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
In this 30-minute class, Emily—the heart and soul behind Creativities with EEK—will virtually guide your child through the steps to successfully create two healthy, delicious snacks: energy balls and ants on a log! Bonus: kids will also learn why they are healthy (protein, healthy fats, etc)! These snacks are easy for children ages 3+ to put together with an adult, or 5+ to put together on their own, as long as they have the necessary (or substitute) ingredients!
Kids will learn: Measuring, Healthy Eating Habits, Listening/Following Directions
iNGREDIENTS LIST
Energy balls:
-1 cup (80 grams) of oats
-1/3 cup (115 grams) of unfiltered honey
-1/2 cup (125 grams) of almond butter (or other nut butter)
-1/2 cup of ground flax seeds (55 grams) or whole chia seeds (110 grams)
-1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vanilla
-1/2 cup (80 grams) of dried fruit
Ants on a log:
-Celery
-PB or another nut butter
-Raisins

This is an online class that is hosted on the KidPass Digital Platform, which uses Zoom. Upon booking, you will receive a link to access the class in your booking confirmation email. Simply click on the link when it's time for your class. Please download Zoom prior to the start of the class.
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be live-streamed on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction.
