This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (https://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
In this class students will conceptualize, plan, and create a 3-D standing LEGO® pumpkin lantern with a hollow center, an opening from the top, and an outside facial design in the expression of their choosing. They will build the lantern based on the origin story of Stingy Jack of which Jack O Lanterns were named after! Fun trivia and facts about JackOLanterns and the season are sprinkled throughout the session!
Note that as a KidPass Live Stage performance, this class and your participation may be posted on KidPass social media. Since it is formatted for a large audience, there will be limited instructor interaction. Calling all scientists-in-the-making! Children will love exploring STEAM concepts with Snapology, an educational program that combines play with education to provide children with a fun, interactive environment to learn STEAM. Children will be introduced to science, technology, engineering, art math, robotics and even video game design concepts using Lego bricks, K’Nex and other tools. Register your budding engineer, mathematician or scientists (their programs are designed for children ages one to 10 years old) in a drop-in session that's both interactive and educational! Class themes include Basic Engineering, Brick Art and Design Lab, Amusement Park Engineering, Sports Science, Space Wars Robotics, Video Game Design and more!
