"Petite Ballroom " is a unique blend of classical ballet and ballroom dance. Developed by Eastern European ballroom dance champions and mothers of busy tots, the class is designed to spark a lifelong love and appreciation of dance, music, and European and Hispanic cultures. Despite its fun nature, it will educate, not merely entertain. Moms, caregivers and petite dancers will learn together, dance, get a great workout, and develop a special bond that will last for years to come!

It's FREE, it's fun, it's a great workout for mommies and a wonderful way to bond with your little ones! No attire needed for Open House - Just wear comfortable clothes and socks with some grip. Ages 16 months- 3.5 years

Too overwhelming for a two year old. May be good to three year olds.

Great class, very fun! It goes a bit fast for little ones. She really tries to teach them techniques for ballet and a little introduction to samba, chachacha and other dances. It was really fun for me and my older daughter that came as well, I think it would be best actually for 4 to 6 year olds.

Nice space and friendly teacher. The children were really excited. The sound was a little bit loud and the class is high paced. So I would recommend this class for high energy kids that don't get overwhelmed easily.

Petite Ballroom is a unique blend of classical ballet and ballroom dance. This class is suitable for toddlers as young as 14 months.

Developed by US and Eastern European ballroom dance champions, mothers of busy tots, the class is designed to spark a lifelong love for dance, music, and European and Hispanic cultures. Despite its fun nature, it will educate, not merely entertain. Moms and petite dancers will learn together, dance, get a great workout, and develop a special bond that will last for years to come!

Every single move and shake has been tested and approved by our toughest critics - our own children. While we are flexible in many ways, we adhere strictly to one rule: we must have a blast! The exercises will lay a solid foundation in both dance forms while using dance terms in French, Spanish and English. Petite dancers (and their caregivers) will develop the following skills and gain exposure to different cultures:

- PHYSICAL: Grace, body awareness, strength, flexibility, spatial orientation, gross motor skills, self-control - COGNITIVE: Being able to recognize, count and reproduce various rhythms and tempos, characteristic to both Ballet and Latin/Ballroom dance (e.g., Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha, Salsa/Mambo, Merengue, Samba, Paso Doble, Swing) - SOCIAL: Proper dance etiquette, taking turns, ability to work in a team - CULTURAL: Exposure to European and Hispanicdances, culture and language
