See It Big! Spielberg Summer - Father's Day Matinee of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial + Virtual Reality Bike Ride and Craft Workshop (Adult + Child) at Museum of the Moving Image

About
Spend Father’s Day joining E.T. and Elliot on their flying bike ride! Families will be able to see E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on the big screen and participate in a workshop combining hands-on art making with the digital wonder of virtual reality.

In the workshop, families will use clay and drawing materials to create their own three-dimensional version of outer space populated by extraterrestrials inspired by the film E.T. Participants will take turns pedalling through their collective outer space world using a stationary bike and Google Cardboard virtual reality viewers. Kids will also get to decorate their own cardboard VR viewers and take them home along with their clay projects. Recommended for ages 6 - 14 years, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to the 12:30 p.m. screening of E.T. on the same day is included with the workshop.
