Town & Village Synagogue, located in Union Square of Manhattan, offers spiritual, cultural, social, and educational offerings for NYC families. Town & Village's approach to Judaism is egalitarian and open, and includes the likes of Havurah (fellowship, community), Torah (study), Avodah (worship), and Gemilut Hasadim (loving kindness, social action for our local and global communities). For kids, Town & Village offers drop-in classes for those 0-4 years old (that must be with an adult), Hebrew School for kids ages 2.5 and older and services geared towards tots (Tot Shabbat). At Town & Village, men and women share roles and responsibilities equally when conducting services and in all community activities. They also embrace individuals of all family structures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds.
