Multi-Sport Athletes - Tiny / Little at Kids in Sports (at 92nd Street Y)

Our Multi-Sport Athlete classes are specifically designed for all age levels. These classes teach the fundamentals of baseball, basketball, floor hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball. One sport is focused on for two to three weeks before rotating to another sport. Multi-Sport Athlete classes also include a fitness and cooperative games session. Skills of each sport are taught in small and large groups, with games eventually being played at the appropriate age levels.

The instructors were nice and there were three of them for only 9 kids which was great. However there was a wide range of kids making it difficult for the younger kids to participate fully.

Founded in 1999, Kids In Sports instructs children in multi-sport classes including Basketball, Baseball, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer and Volleyball. With a 1:5 coach to child ratio, your child will have the attention and appreciation they deserve. Our age appropriate equipment designed by our coaches makes our classes extra special for building confidence in your children with equipment they feel comfortable with.

We focus on teaching the fundamentals of sports in an organized, safe, fun, and supportive environment with emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and communication. With a change in sports every 2-3 weeks, your child is sure to master the technique of each individual sport, while getting the experience and excitement of them all!

With bountiful options to choose from, Kids In Sports offers everything from parent participation and drop-off classes, to multi and sport specific classes, to summer and day camps, after school programs, pre-school alternatives, and birthday parties. With our headquarters on the corner of 74th and Second, we also offer our programing at Temple Israel and the 92nd Street Y.
