Puppet Town with Grant at Kids at Work

About
Puppet Town in the classroom is a 45-minute multi-sensory and interactive puppet theatre experience for children ages 12 months - 5 years old.
Classes combine the joy of a live theatrical show interspersed with activities to help enhance and grow children’s gross and fine motor skills. Each week, a different puppet will be given a chance in the spotlight with hopes of becoming the next star of Puppet Town. After the opening scene, children will be asked to help these characters with a myriad of tasks including creating puppets for the final show, making props, designing the background and similar sensory projects that allow the audience to be a contributing member of the final production. Once the allotted time for completion is over, children and their families can sit back and watch the puppet show that they helped to create. The theatre is no longer just a sedentary activity thanks to Puppet Town and we cannot wait to see the outcome!

About
Kids at Work is the only multi-subject center in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC that features an entirely drop-in schedule, meaning that kids ages infant - 4 years old may attend any class, any time, in subjects like music, sensory art, movement, dance, soccer, yoga, sign language, and cooking! Kids at Work is a tightknit community, and oft-said to be one of Chelsea's best-kept secrets, as 80% of the clientele attend Kids at Work multiple times a week. Kids learn in a safe, process-oriented and child-choice driven environment, and there are helpful programs like the Gentle Separation Playgroup, where your kid can learn to safely separate, and the New Moms Talk Group, where you can meet and bond with other new moms like you! Kids at Work also offers summer camps and birthday parties. Drop in any time!
