PBS invites you and your family to join Martin Sheen and Kate Macdonald Butler, L.M. Montgomery’s granddaughter, for PBS’ private book reading event for Anne of Green Gables on Wednesday, October 19 from 12-2pm at the Barnes & Noble in Union Square. A broadcast special based on Montgomery’s classic novel will air on PBS on Thanksgiving night.

The afternoon will include a reading of Anne of Green Gables, a Q&A with Sheen and Butler and light refreshments and snacks will be served. We encourage you and your children to come with questions!
