About
Sensational Play classes are 45 minutes of fun & creativity, where a caregiver or parent actively supervises their child.​ Sessions are for children aged 2.5 years and older. This makes it a fabulous class for the whole family. We are located on the Upper West Side.

As the sessions are focused on sensory experiences (touch, vision, movement, taste, smell) you can expect lots of opportunities for messy play and tactile exploration - water, shaving cream, rice, spaghetti, ice - to name a few, along with movement activities, visual delights, and pleasant smells!

Children under the age of 2 are allowed to attend class, however they must be registered with an additional booking. Newborns are welcome in slings or carriers, please no strollers.

    This was a hit! I loved it. The kids loved it. Hands on arts and crafts activities that can be used in imaginative play at home and inspire more creativity. Loved! Will return!!

    Sensational Play offers unique, creative and messy play classes for children 2.5 to 8 years on the Upper West Side. Parents/carers accompany their child to the class, providing 45 minutes of uninterrupted ‘child-parent’ bonding time. You can book in for the block (from now until Mid December) or register for drop in sessions to suit your schedule. Sensational Play’s weekly classes are a multi-age class. Each child can play at their own level, and their parent/carer is present to help facilitate this. This makes it an ideal class for siblings to attend – a rare offering on the Upper West Side.
