Parent and Baby Yoga


Our postnatal vinyasa class will gently help recondition the postpartum body and create physical, mental and emotional ease and confidence as you reconnect with your own self and your baby. In this sacred, nurturing environment moms can "take a break" to reset and focus on themselves, interact with other like-minded moms and bond with their little one. Learn simple and effective techniques for baby such as massage to comfort and aid in digestion/trapped air, gentle stretches and calming cradling holds. Mommies and babies alike will feel rejuvenated, relaxed and restored! Dads and caretakers welcome. Baby ages: up to early crawlers.
When to arrive:
15 minutes before
Additional details:
Moms should be at least 4 weeks postpartum with doctor's approval. Please bring: yoga mat or borrow one of ours (limited quantities available), boppy pillow or blanket, water. Wear comfy clothes.

Michelle Timek Yoga is a yoga studio in downtown Jersey City offering a variety of classes, including vinyasa (flow), pre/postnatal and kids' yoga. Workshops in childbirthing preparation, therapeutic yoga, reiki and restorative, as well as other styles of yoga are also offered.

Michelle is certified in Vinyasa, Pre/Postnatal and Strala Studio Intensive Training for Teachers (SIT) program. She leads various weekly group classes and specializes in Pre/Postnatal, Mommy & Baby and Geriatric yoga.
