NYC Classical Training was founded by Leslie Seeger in early 2015. Ms. Seeger, a former professional ballet dancer, was in search of a dance program for her young daughter (now four) that was that perfect mix of solid foundational training coupled with creativity, imagination, and joy.
With the opening of NYC Classical Training at the Creative Culture Center St. Veronica in NYC's West Village, a lifelong dream of training young dancers to their highest abilities in an educational yet light-hearted and inspiring space has come into fruition.
We want your children to feel the love of moving, the joy of music, and satisfaction of achievement.
The school trains dancers of all ages, beginning at the newborn stage through music and movement class, up to adult. With our graded curriculum, our focus lies in solid ballet training beginning with our youngest dancers. However, we advocate for children to explore all types of movement, and offer solid Jazz, Modern, Hiphop, Flamenco, and Musical Theater training for all ages and stages.
NYC Classical Training is thrilled to be in our new location in NYC's West Village in partnership with the Creative Culture Center of St Veronica. We look forward to welcoming you and your family.
Established in 2015 by Founding Artistic Director Leslie Seeger, NYC Classical Training’s core mission is to fully educate the dancers of the future through inspired education.
