For kids who dare to accept one creative challenge a day, learn something new, and build awesome things from materials they already have at home! We'll send you daily creative prompts you can do at home or live online with us! This creative bootcamp help participants to notice more, be more present and happier, and boost their creativity and thinking skills.
This program is completely free, and those who engage more will receive cool creative gifts from our team to keep dreaming and building (see below for the list of gifts).
You may join all daily workshops or a selection of them based on your interests and schedule. Topics vary from wonders of animal kingdom to comics, storytelling, engineering, science, creative math, and design thinking. Every day, we focus on a new topic, get inspiration from renowned artists, scientists, mathematicians, and inventors, ideate together, and make prototypes of our ideas. We will also invite artists and scientists to join us, answer any questions we may have, and teach us techniques to be better creatives.

About
The GIANT Room is an innovation hub in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, designed for NYC families with children 3 to 12 years old, who want to join a GIANT approach to practice STEAM (STEM + Arts) and soft skills. At The GIANT Room kids have access to all sorts of arts and crafts materials, fabrication machines such as laser cutter, 3D printer, sticker machine, button maker, embroidery and sewing machines; construction toys such as LEGO, Rigamajig, and Clixo, as well as creative technologies and robots such as Microbit, littleBits, Makey Makey, and Ozobot. Kids can dream of building anything they wish and GIANT staff are there to guide them through the process. GIANT instructors are all working artists, designers, engineers, and educators with degrees from top universities including NYU, Columbia, Parsons, and Cooper Union.
