SCHOOL DAYS OFF ARE FOR DREAMING AND MAKING!

Come to The GIANT Room for the most epic STEM + Arts day camps, and leave with gigantic ideas and new skills! During your day camp, you’ll have the chance to play around with our fabrication tools including a laser cut and 3D printer, sewing and embroidery machines, electronics, creative tech tools, building tools, arts and crafts materials. Every day we learn new techniques and concepts and practice thinking like an Inventor, Maker, Scientist, Engineer, Designer, Storyteller, Artist, Hacker, or Techie! We promise not a single day will be the same as a previous one. Join us any day we have availability for full day drop-off!

Campers must bring their own lunch and snack. No food will be provided.

    The GIANT Room is an innovation hub in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, designed for NYC families with children 3 to 12 years old, who want to join a GIANT approach to practice STEAM (STEM + Arts) and soft skills. At The GIANT Room kids have access to all sorts of arts and crafts materials, fabrication machines such as laser cutter, 3D printer, sticker machine, button maker, embroidery and sewing machines; construction toys such as LEGO, Rigamajig, and Clixo, as well as creative technologies and robots such as Microbit, littleBits, Makey Makey, and Ozobot. Kids can dream of building anything they wish and GIANT staff are there to guide them through the process. GIANT instructors are all working artists, designers, engineers, and educators with degrees from top universities including NYU, Columbia, Parsons, and Cooper Union.
