We’re bringing Holiday Spirit to our studio in Chelsea. You are invited to visit our studio, make your own customized gifts using fabrication tools such as a 3D printer, sticker machine, button maker, laser cutter, embroidery and sewing machines; art and crafts material including beads and modeling clay, electronics, and so much more. You can even wrap your gifts in one of a kind wrapping papers made from original paintings by GIANT artists or create your own gift wrap.

Buy Timed Tickets to join our Open Studio. We highly recommend you to purchase tickets online in advance to make sure we have availability when you come in.

Limited Tickets per time slots. $35/child per hour.

My 5 yo daughter loved her time in the Giant Room. Good covid protocols and limited people. She loved the sticker making, button making, and wood cutting. Great maker programs and kind and helpful staff!

About
The GIANT Room is an innovation hub in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, designed for NYC families with children 3 to 12 years old, who want to join a GIANT approach to practice STEAM (STEM + Arts) and soft skills. At The GIANT Room kids have access to all sorts of arts and crafts materials, fabrication machines such as laser cutter, 3D printer, sticker machine, button maker, embroidery and sewing machines; construction toys such as LEGO, Rigamajig, and Clixo, as well as creative technologies and robots such as Microbit, littleBits, Makey Makey, and Ozobot. Kids can dream of building anything they wish and GIANT staff are there to guide them through the process. GIANT instructors are all working artists, designers, engineers, and educators with degrees from top universities including NYU, Columbia, Parsons, and Cooper Union.
