FGA’s pre-school gymnastic classes are one of our most popular programs. We know a good foundation at an early age leads to success. Our professional staff guides these preschoolers in activities that improve strength, balance, flexibility, hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness along with teaching them the fundamentals of gymnastics and tumbling.
They will enjoy running, jumping, swinging and climbing in a safe and fun atmosphere. Equipment includes balls, hula-hoops, ropes’ for climbing and swinging, balance beams, chutes and ladders, tunnels, trampolines, and of course the favorite loose foam pit. We understand child development, and we have designed our classes to meet the cognitive, social, and physical needs of young children. At Farmingdale Gymnastics Academy, small successes never go unnoticed, and a nurturing class environment makes for happy, healthy kids

2010 was a first years as we celebrated the Grand Opening of Farmingdale Gymnastics Academy (FGA) the introduction of a brand new state of the art facility with a highly qualified and motivated staff. Our philosophy or mission is teaching gymnastics using a balanced approach. We will be mindful of the physical, emotional and mental development and health of our gymnasts as we create a fun and safe sports environment. Hard work and dedication from our staff of gymnastics coaches, along with FGA’s parents and athletes truly set the pace for our competitive teams and class gymnastics.

Editor’s Tip
Taryn comes to FGA with 16 years of coaching experience. Her passion is not only to teach gymnastics skills but lifelong lessons that the children will use into adulthood. She is also an aquatics director, pre-school teacher, athletic trainer, and personal trainer.
