This is a special FREE online class presented by KidPass Live Stage (http://kidp.as/live). KidPass Live Stage is a free livestream series that is open for the community and showcases many of the incredible classes and instructors on KidPass.
Luna Performing Arts + Thinkertales = LunaTales! We’re bringing you a 30 minute mashup of movement a la Luna and stories + an activity a la Thinkertales. Our dance teacher will lead us through warm-ups and will teach us some moves, and our Thinkertales teacher will lead the class through stories and the extension activity of the day!
Each week, we focus on bringing our stories and themes to life for our attendees. This week, we're going to the ocean! We'll read about a very brave fish, we'll make some "flying fish" of our own, and we'll dance and play just like ocean animals!
Materials:
-1 piece of paper

Register your child in a program at Luna Performing Arts in TriBeCa. Luna Performing Arts offers a wide array of dance and movement classes for both children and adults. Luna's offerings include ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, Chinese dance, and story time & movement classes. The space also boasts private lessons, fitness and wellness classes! Babies as young as 12 months old can enjoy a story time, beginner dance techniques and activities that develop language, listening skills, literacy and coordination. Toddlers will receive an introduction to ballet, hip hop and Chinese dance and develop their listening skills, coordination and rhythmic awareness. Older kids will receive a more technical introduction to jazz, ballet, Chinese dance and more. For little ones who want to learn various types of dance, register them in a combination class!

Alanna Chan is a New York based actress and dancer with over 25 years of experience. She grew up training in Chinese Folk Dance, ballet, jazz, and hip hop and furthered her training at the Joffrey Ballet School’s prestigious Jazz and Contemporary Program.
