This is a class where future chess champions will be discovered! Kids get to learn the basics of chess through special games and stories that will help them make learning fun. After graduating the students will know all the rules and basic chess strategies and tactics.

• Basic mates tactical tools
• pawn endings
• board vision and many more topics will be taught

About
Register your little one in a chess class at Chess Max Academy in the Upper East Side. Chess Max Academy is a state-of-the-art chess school utilizing the latest technology and teaching methods to easily teach kids how to master the game of chess. The classes are all guided by an accomplished coach and Grandmaster Maxim Dlugy. The focus of the school is to improve chess playing abilities in kids as effectively as possible. The class uses the group class approach, meaning children are grouped by age and ability in small groups, and will be challenged by different kinds of problems and contests. Kids will also compete against each other and help guide each other in team games. As kids improve on their skills, they'll have the opportunity to play in tournaments and against adults, continuing their mastery of the game in different scenarios!
