Located in the heart of New York City in Hell's Kitchen, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is home to modern and contemporary masterpieces by Vincent van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Jacob Lawrence and many more. Especially exciting for families are the kid-friendly tours, workshops and film screenings that introduce children to the world of art. Families have the opportunity to hear from famous artists and designers, watch animated shorts and make art of their own. The museum is also inclusive—they offer programs for kids with learning and developmental disabilities and their families. During your visit, be sure to visit the Heyman Family Art Lab, an interactive space located on the first floor of the Education and Research Building, and pick up a free Family Activity Guide from the information desks on every floor. Best of all, children ages 16 and under are always free!
