Join Cucu's Playhouse (virtually) every day from Monday through Saturday at 1:30pm EST and 7:30pm EST for singing, dancing and playing while learning Spanish, all from the comfort of your own home.
In this class, your child will enjoy a selection of children's songs in Spanish and participate in related activities that help cement the words and their meanings. Some of the songs even encourage kids to get up and dance! Nilda uses puppets, musical instruments, and props to teach children basic vocabulary through action and interaction, rather than through translation.
The classes are streamed on Zoom's webinar platform. Participants (children, parents, nannies) are able to join the video from their homes and interact with us in real-time, it is a fun and engaging experience.
WHAT TO BRING
The following will add to the experience, but are not required. Please feel free to have with you:
- A musical toy like a drum, shaker, any household item that can be used to follow a beat or just your hands to clap :)
- A couple of playsilks, scarves, or any small piece of fabric that can be used to follow along when we use playsilks in the class
- You child's favorite stuffed animal, doll or any other toy friend

The class is good for:- Bilingual families looking for Spanish enrichment activities.- Families that do not speak Spanish but are exploring it as a possible second language for their children. Your child will not understand every word we say, but they will have fun with the music and puppets. The more classes they attend, the more familiar they will become with the lyrics and the language in general.Give it a try, it is a fun experience!
