Baby Boot Camp is a fun, outdoor, prenatal and postpartum workout for women of all fitness levels, led by nationally certified fitness instructors. You'll get fit, bond with your kiddos and connect with other moms while doing it. We use resistance bands combined with cardio for a balanced, full-body workout, and there are always modifications for pregnant and postpartum moms. Our stroller fitness class is for moms with stroller-age children. To participate in our classes, moms must be at least 6 weeks postpartum (8 weeks for a cesarean section) and have received verbal clearance from their physician to resume physical exercise.
Baby Boot Camp offers fitness classes to moms at any stage of motherhood - pregnant, newly postpartum and moms with one or more toddlers. Our interval-based classes incorporate cardio, strength, and core for a total body workout. Moms get to exercise and children spend time in fun, engaging environment with bubbles, toys and story time. Our instructors are nationally certified and trained in prenatal and postpartum fitness.
We’ll provide you with all of the fitness gear you need for your first class, just remember to eat a healthy breakfast and bring water and a yoga mat/ blanket for ground work. Little ones should have a stroller, though they may get out when it is safe and appropriate. Please feel free to bring a picnic blanket, toys, snacks, etc. for your child.
If you are pregnant, please bring a note from your doctor clearing you for physical activity. You must be 6 weeks postpartum if you had a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks postpartum if you had a C-section in order to attend class.
We meet on the grass at the northwest corner of the park on the old putting green. There is street parking on Roxbury and Spalding and also meters around the park (be sure to check the street parking signs!)
