The introduction to the joy of Ballet for our youngest movers! Through the exploration of dance concepts, music, rhythm, basic ballet positions and vocabulary, dancers will create and move through the studio using fun and imaginative class themes. From slow, heavy movements through the enchanted woods to light, jumping spins in the magic safari, dancers will use their natural vibrant imagination in conjunction with their evolving ballet foundation to develop strength, agility, body awareness and self-confidence.
When to arrive:

Grown ups! Don't forget to wear comfortable clothing too as you WILL be moving and grooving alongside your child in class.

WR Arts is a dance school for NYC kids ages 4-12 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where students can take tap, ballet, modern dance, jazz, musical theater dance and more in age and level-appropriate classes. WR Arts gives students a chance to explore their kinesthetic awareness through dance, find their voice through drama and vocal training, as well as encourage personal confidence and individuality through shared participation. WR Arts' mission is to introduce and share their love for the performing arts while also supporting ways to bring the beauty of North Brooklyn's culturally diverse neighborhoods together to build a stronger community through the arts. They also offer dance summer camps classes known as "summer arts!" As WR Arts likes to say, "We are dance. We are community. We are arts!
Editor’s Tip
WR Arts is located on the basement level, down the stairs outside in front of the building, with limited waiting/storage space. If possible, please leave scooters, strollers, etc. at home!
