About
Princess Play is a 90 minute structured playtime usually scheduled for weekends and school holidays. The theme this week is Shoe La La. Planned activities include a themed craft, story, dress up, photo and a seasonal tea party. The last 10 minutes is allotted for transition time (aka dance party). Advance registration is required. Drop off is optional, however an adult companion is required for children who are not potty trained or under 3 years of age. Ideal for ages 3-6.

Girls should wear a tank top and shorts underneath clothing to facilitate dress up.

This place is a dream come true for little girls! (They DO also have some costumes for boys as well.) . It's not a chain. It's someone's own personal place where the kids walk in and get to pick any costume they want - along with jewelry, adorable "high" heels and tieras and wands! They then sit down to get their makeup done along with nail polish (think it's clear...) . Then they all get their photo taken of which a copy gets printed for you to take home. (We never have hard copies of photos anymore! These pics are taped up all over our living room wall.) And finally - they sit at a long communal table for their tea party! They get snacks and drinks on adorable china! My daughter goes there time and time again. Hope to see your daugher there soon too!

All princesses and princes are welcome at Let's Dress Up in the Upper East Side. Excitement and creativity abound as soon as children walk in the door! Kids will have the opportunity to choose a princess dress or knight costume, wear jewelry, put on make up and take photos before socializing over a classic tea party. (The 90-minute parties have different themes like Disney princesses, holidays and even superheroes!) After tea time, children will enjoy an interactive coloring activity and a story time. For a longer princess experience, attend the Princess Mini Camp, which is a two-hour long play session featuring activities, story time and themed play. Let's Dress Up recommends all visitors be at least 3 years old and potty trained for drop-off sessions.
