Wonderful class for boys and girls! My daughter and her friend (little boy) took it together and had the best time. Well structured but creative and Miss. Sara did a great job of keeping the little dancers engaged. My daughter (who never wants to take classes) asked to go back again the very next day.

Lovely classroom and experienced teachers. My 3.5 year-old daughter has a lot of fun at this ballet class!

Very nice studio and engaged teacher. The space is a little tight and no real piano player, but overall a fun, collaborative class.

About
Miss Sara's Ballet Studio's goal is for students to experience ballet class as a place where everyone feels welcomed and valued for who they are.

From 2011 to 2016 Sara ran her own studio, Miss Sara’s Ballet School, in Marin County, California, where she developed a training and performance curriculum for children ages 2 to 11 years old. A recent transplant to New York City, Sara is excited to begin teaching ballet to children on the Upper East Side.

Sara received all her ballet training at the San Francisco Ballet School and danced with San Francisco Ballet in works by Balanchine, Ashton, Christensen and Smuin, among others. Sara is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.

Sara's hope for her students is that they develop a love for dance and music that they will carry with them throughout their lives, whether they go on to become professional ballet dancers or simply become devoted fans of this beautiful art form.
