Our kid's classes focus on developing a child's inner strength. Strength is developed from the inside out. It is a complete Mind, Body, Spirit approach. The spirit is developed through self-discipline, control and respect. The mind strengthened through developing focus and concentration. The body is conditioned through fun exercises and learning karate techniques. The result is a confident child.

The extraordinary martial art, Isshinryu, is the basis of the students karate education. This art focuses on using quick and relaxed techniques instead of brute forces. The entire body is part of each technique thereby making it very powerful without putting the strain on the ligaments and joints that is often seen in other martial arts. Everything is put to practical everyday context including self defense and real life skills all in a supportive and safe environment.

About
Our philosophy is to teach students skills that they can use in their normal everyday life. We help develop a child’s core athleticism and physical skills through basic martial art techniques using drills, music and games in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.

Editor’s Tip
At Tiger Strong kids practice Isshin-Ryu, a style of Okinawan karate, that literally means 'one heart way' (as in 'wholehearted' or 'complete'). Each class focuses on inner strength with a Mind, Body, and Spirit approach.
