Saturday Morning Cartoons

In this class, students will sketch and brainstorm their own visual stories starting with simple sketches and working their way up to a sequential narrative from their imagination. We will address methods of drawing from both observation and imagination, tying into the fields of comics, illustration, fine art, character design, and animation. By experimenting with a variety
of materials, students will become comfortable in their mark making and may begin to hone a unifying visual sensibility.
